Community Guidelines
These guidelines govern Spark Commons, approved private organization groups, and the Convergence Q45 participant and alumni community operated by Dr. Brown Cares LLC. They accompany the Terms and Conditions and apply to members, organization administrators, leaders, moderators, facilitators, participants, alumni, and guests.
Gather with dignity
- Communicate respectfully and speak from personal experience.
- Welcome another person’s freedom to pass, pause, disagree, or remain quiet.
- Seek consent before offering personal advice, prayer directed toward another person, correction, or interpretation of another person’s experience.
- Protect the dignity, faith journey, identity, and boundaries of every participant.
Protect confidentiality
- Keep private group contributions within the approved group unless the contributor gives specific permission for a defined use.
- Receive separate permission before recording, photographing, quoting, publishing, or identifying another participant or organization.
- Use fictional or fully deidentified examples when discussing professional, ministry, research, or healthcare situations.
- Keep protected health information, patient information, passwords, financial information, government identifiers, confidential employer information, and sensitive third party information outside community posts and general forms.
Preserve community safety
- Harassment, threats, discrimination, retaliation, stalking, impersonation, coercion, exploitation, sexual misconduct, unlawful conduct, malware, spam, and unrelated promotion may lead to intervention.
- Credential sharing, invitation code resale, unauthorized surveillance, scraping, harvesting, recording, and access control circumvention are prohibited.
- Urgent medical, mental health, safety, legal, financial, or spiritual care needs belong with appropriately qualified resources and emergency services.
- Members may report a contribution for moderator review through the group controls.
Leadership stewardship
Administrators manage membership and designated access. Leaders guide the group purpose and reading rhythm. Moderators support community conduct and review reports. Each role remains limited to its assigned group and platform permissions. Leaders document material moderation actions through the supplied controls and escalate platform, privacy, security, or safety concerns to authorized Book Club administration.
Review and response
Authorized administrators may review reports, preserve relevant records, limit visibility, remove content, change roles, suspend participation, revoke invitations, or end access in response to community, privacy, security, legal, or operational concerns. Review will consider the available record, participant dignity, proportionality, safety, confidentiality, and applicable requirements.
Contribution permissions
Participants retain rights they hold in original contributions. Posting grants the limited operational license described in the Terms and Conditions. Publicity, testimonials, recordings, photographs, quotations, and external publication require separate appropriate permission.
